WhereWear is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to providing shelters with high-quality clothing donations tailored to their specific needs. We focus on sustainability by sourcing second-hand items and ensuring they meet shelter requirements, from winter coats to professional attire. Through local drives and a growing network, we support vulnerable populations while reducing waste and fostering community collaboration. Run entirely by young people with guidance from advisors, WhereWear combines creativity, compassion, and practicality to make a lasting impact. Our mission is to bridge gaps in resources and ensure every donation serves its greatest purpose.
Cycle
Cycle is WhereWear’s innovative donation system that directly connects clothing donors with shelters requesting specific items. By allowing donors to report what they have and matching those items with shelters’ needs, Cycle reduces waste and ensures that every donation has a meaningful impact. This streamlined process benefits donors by simplifying the act of giving, helps shelters fulfill their most urgent requests, and supports sustainability by minimizing oversupply. Designed to create a more efficient and impactful donation experience, Cycle makes it easier for communities to come together and address resource gaps for vulnerable populations.
